My name is Kevin Mullikin.  I have been assisting Colorado attorneys and law firms for the last 6 years increase the effectiveness of their websites, and increase the amount of qualified traffic they receive to their website.  Whether you are a solo practitioner just hanging out your shingle or a law firm that has been in Denver, Colorado for several years I can help.  In the six years of have been with FindLaw I have seen the internet grow and change, and how that growth has affected the Denver, Colorado legal community.  I know the market, and your competition.

Years ago attorneys and law firms basically put their firm brochure on the internet and said “Now I have a website”.  As the internet got bigger, and internet searchers got more sophisticated the law firm internet philosophy needed to change.

As lawyers and law firms started getting clients via their website’s the legal community took notice.  All of a sudden that static “brochure site” was not good enough.  A good website needs visibility/traffic, informative content, and have a design that grabs the visitors attention right away.  So when you start this website client development process what questions do you need to ask?

When I started working for FindLaw six years ago I found that attorneys and law firm’s really needed to be informed on what makes a good website, how the internet works, and what questions they needed to ask when taking on a website client development project. 

For the last 4 years I have conducted a CLE seminar entitled “Using the Internet to Develop and Retain clients”.  The program takes one hour, and all attendees receive 1 General credit.
