Nominations for WebAwards come from more than 33 countries from around the world. Web sites are judged on seven criteria: design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation and content. This marks the second major award this year for Findlaw, a Thomson Reuters business's work developing the Denner Pellegrino, LLP Web site, which also earned an Official Honoree Award at the 2007 Webby Awards.

FindLaw.com received a 2007 People's Voice Award for the Best Law Web Site - the portal's second honor at The Webby Awards in the past three years.
